We’re here to support you and your child every step of the way. Our process is designed with your family’s needs in mind, offering a warm, compassionate experience from the moment you reach out. Here’s what you can expect:
Discovery Call
- Getting to Know You: We’ll begin by asking what you’re hoping to find for your child’s growth and happiness.
- Sharing Your Story: You’ll have the chance to tell us about your child, such as their age (the first thing we ask), behaviors, or any medications. We’ll listen carefully to understand their needs and start crafting a plan together.
- A Ray of Hope: We’re excited to share details about ABA Therapy, which treats the symptoms of autism whether its cause is genetic, environmental or a combination of both.
- Your Personalized Plan: By the end of our first chat, we’ll provide you with a Personalized Plan of Action to guide your next steps with us.
Understanding Insurance
- Our Approach: We don’t accept Medicaid, but we’re happy to work with United Healthcare and every major employer insurance (like Blue Cross), unless your employer excludes autism treatment or Houston ABA therapy services.
- Clearance Process: Each insurance has its own steps for approval, and we’ll take care of that for you. Once cleared, we’ll schedule your child’s sessions.
- Always a Friendly Voice: When you call, you’ll connect with a real person ready to help, because your family deserves personal attention.
Scheduling Your Support
- Next Steps: After we receive insurance approval, we’ll find a convenient time to start your child’s therapy.
- Ongoing Care: You’ll feel supported as we work together, ensuring your family gets the guidance you need with empathy and understanding.
Your Welcoming Interview
- Getting Acquainted: This is a casual chat to see if we’re the right fit for each other. This will be between you, your child and our team.
- Meeting with the Director: After, our director will set up a time to meet with you and spend a moment with your child to ensure we can provide the best care.
Your Child’s Assessment
- Taking Time to Understand: We’ll conduct a gentle behavioral assessment over one week to learn more about your child’s needs and how we can help.
Your Treatment Journey
- Parent Training: You’ll join us for a supportive training session once a week to feel confident in supporting your child’s progress at home.
- Regular Check-Ins: We’ll re-goal every six months to adjust and celebrate your child’s growth.
- A Two-Year Plan: Your journey includes four cycles within a two-year program, tailored to your child’s unique path.
