At Autism Pediatric Therapy you can help children learn to play with their peers and siblings, acquire new communication skills, and develop fine and gross motor skills through one-on-one and small group therapy!
Position Openings:
Autism Pediatric Therapy is always accepting applications from talented and driven individuals in the psychology and education fields to join our evergrowing team. There are numerous positions available within our organization for bright, creative, and confident team players.
Currently, we have openings for the following positions:
•Level 1 Trainer (works one on one with patients)
•Lead Trainer (assists in training and mentoring new employees)
•Clinic Co-director (works with other managers to smoothly run the day to day operations of the clinic)
•BCBA (Designs and implements behavioral programs *certification required)

The career opportunities listed above include the following requirements:
•Qualified candidates must have excellent communication skills, professional demeanor, be a flexible thinker, energetic, creative and able to handle last minute changes.
•Completion and selection through APT’s interview process, which may include 3 interviews
•New employees must complete a full criminal background and driving record check. We will also check all credentials and references listed.
•Bachelors or Master’s Degree in a related field from an accredited university
•Completion of a 90-day probationary period in which your progress, training and general fit in our facility will be evaluated.
•Be able to work one on one and in small groups as needed.
•Ability to implementing behavioral procedures in a detailed scientific manner. As a clinical facility, it is expected that all employees maintain the professional atmosphere that would be expected in any medical therapeutic treatment environment
Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Applicants interested in a BCBA position must:
- Have a minimum of 2-5 years of experience working with children with autism
- Hold a BCBA certification
- Have strong communication and leadership skills
- Have a willingness to learn and ability to adapt to multiple environments and personnel
- Experience training verbal behavior skills
- Ability to conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments
- Ability to create and design effective behavior programs in a wide range of skill domains
- Be experienced with or willing to learn to conduct various skills assessments such as the VB-MAPP
